MG Show & Spares Day - February 19th 2012

It was another successful year at the annual MG Show and Spares Day. This was the second year running that we have attended the show and we had a fantastic day speaking with various MG enthusiasts and arrange for quotations to be provided from our call centre staff.

It was also the perfect show to start the year and a great opportunity to once again showcase our fabulous prize, a fully restored MGB valued at £15,000! Since we first launched the car at the NEC Classic Motor Show in November it has generated a huge amount of interest and it was equally as popular at this event too!

The prize draw to win the MGB is to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the MGB this year and one lucky winner will be announced at the MGB’s 50th Party at Blenheim Palace. There has been a great deal of interest in the competition with over 4,500 entries already and we expect the upcoming shows to generate even more!

Overall it was a very successful day with a lot of positive feedback about the competition and the event. If you were unable to attend the MG Show and Spares Day to view our MGB - Do not panic! We also plan to exhibit the car at MG Live at Silverstone Raceway on the 23rd/24th of June and at Goodwood Revival on the 14th/15th/16th of September, before announcing the lucky winner at Blenheim Palace on the 23rd of September.
