Policy Benefits
We may be able to include a number of policy benefits as part of your insurance policy including:
Accidental Damage Cover
We will cover you for accidental damage for loss or damage to the insured vehicle (subject to exclusions, limits and excesses). This may include its accessories and spare parts if you keep these in or on your vehicle or in your own private garage. Criteria may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
Limited Mileage Discount
We can provide quotes which may include significant discounts for low annual mileage use. Our biggest limited mileage insurance discounts apply to drivers who have a vehicle mileage limitation of 1500 miles per year but our discount structure is staggered and we can insure drivers with unlimited mileage too. Discounts offered may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
Unlimited Mileage
If you use your motor vehicle for business purposes you may require an insurance policy which does not have any restrictions placed on your annual mileage. We have a panel of insurers which we can search based on your individual requirements. Criteria may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
Windscreen Cover
We may pay to replace or repair broken glass in the windscreen, rear screen, sunroof or side windows of your vehicle and repair any scratching to the bodywork caused by the broken glass, so long as there has not been any other loss or damage to your vehicle (subject to exclusions, limits and excesses). Criteria may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
Club Member Discounts
Our specialist insurance schemes are tailored towards enthusiast vehicles and their owners. We support the clubs which help to keep the industry alive and aim to reward their members with discounted rates against their insurance premium. Discounts offered may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
Free European Cover (Green Card)
We may provide green card cover for policyholders taking their vehicle to any country which is a member of the European Union and any other country whose arrangements meet the requirements of, and are approved by the European Union, providing that your permanent home is in the United Kingdom and that the visit is for pleasure use (not applicable for non UK residents or UK residents wishing to use their vehicle whilst employed outside the UK). Criteria may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
Courtesy Car
It may be possible for you to be provided with a courtesy car by the repairing garage for the duration of the authorised repair following a claim (subject to availability and inclusions within your insurance policy). Criteria may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
Up to 65% Introductory Discount
If your No Claims Discount is in use on another vehicle and your driving and claims record is good, we may be able to provide you with up to 65% Introductory Discount (otherwise known as ‘Good Driver Discount, GDD). Any discounts which may be available may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
Protected No Claims Discount
Once you reach the maximum no claims bonus you may wish to protect your discount. By doing this the insurer will allow you to make a claim without losing your no claims bonus. The number of claims you are allowed to make varies for each insurer, but as an example it may be two claims in three years or two in five years. Criteria may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
Voluntary Excess
Depending on the policy and cover, the type of vehicle you drive, or your claims history, you may have a compulsory excess on your insurance (subject to type of claim and liability). This is the amount you’d have to pay towards a claim. You may get a discount on your premium if you agree to pay a voluntary excess as well. If you have a compulsory excess of £100 and a voluntary excess of £200, you’ll have to pay the first £300 of your claim. Criteria may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
Personal Effects & Audio Cover
We may pay for loss or damage to your personal belongings whilst in the insured vehicle. We may also be able to provide you cover for your audio equipment which is permanently fitted to your vehicle. Criteria may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
Approved Network of Repairers
In the event that you need to make a claim for damage caused to your vehicle you have the peace of mind in knowing that our insurers may provide you an approved network of repairers. This enables us to provide our customers with the reassurance that their vehicle repairs will be carried out safely and to a high standard. Criteria may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
Green Laning & Off-Road Cover
Some of our insurers (who provide 4x4 and Land Rover insurance policies) may provide you with cover for driving in the countryside using un-surfaced tracks, forest tracks, or older roadways fallen into disuse. We do not offer cover for time trials or competitions. Criteria may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
Personal Accident Cover
We may provide you with personal accident cover if you (or your spouse, or civil partner) are physically injured as a result of an accident directly involving the insured vehicle, or while you (or your spouse, or civil partner) are inside, getting into or out of any motor vehicle that is not owned, leased or hired by you under a leasing or hire purchase agreement. Criteria may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
Driving Other Cars
Some insurers may provide the policyholder with THIRD PARTY only cover when driving any other car, which is not owned or leased to the policyholder. Note that there is no cover for loss of or damage to that car. For more extensive cover you will need to speak to the owner of the car to become a named driver on their insurance policy. Criteria may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
