Lancaster Insurance has announced it has raised over £250 for Prostate Cancer UK, thanks to its #ClassicTash campaign. Beginning the initiative at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, attendees were encouraged to ‘don their best mo’ and get involved.
The campaign ran till 30th November and car-enthusiasts from up and down the country embraced their ‘inner Tom Selleck’ by uploading selfies wearing over-sized moustaches. Lancaster has pledged to donate £1 for every photo shared using the twitter handle #ClassicTash, with 252 entries received (and counting!).
Richard Morley, Operations Director at Lancaster Insurance, comments: “We’re proud that we’ve been able to help raise awareness in a fun and engaging way, hopefully encouraging more people to talk about the disease and get themselves checked. It’s been great to see so many of our customers and fellow classic car enthusiasts getting involved.”
