It’s a big year for Mini as it’s celebrating its 60th anniversary and we’re delighted to announce the Mini Cooper Register (MCR) as our March club of the month!
The MCR was founded in 1986, not just for owners but enthusiasts as well, all wanting to share in the Cooper’s rich history, from race and rally successes to being the car of choice for many of the ’60s coolest trendsetters. The Club welcomes everyone who has a passion for the Mini marque, not just the Cooper, and help keep the sporting spirit of John Cooper’s brainchild alive half a century after it first made motoring history.
The MCR also has a thriving network of regional groups and the club’s Forum and Facebook page help members keep in touch, share their interests and solve technical issues. A year-round calendar of events offers lots of opportunities to use or show your car and to meet other members. Last weekend (24th March) they took part in the Brooklands Mini Day and in May, they will have a 60-car display the Beaulieu Spring Autojumble.
