Our Club of the Month revealed!

Designed as the European equivalent of the Ford Mustang, the Ford Capri was first introduced in 1969 and has an established following up and down the country!

Our Club of the Month, the Capri Mk1 Register, was first introduced over 20 years ago and is run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts! The club is the only REGISTER of these unique cars and also welcomes owners of modified versions to register cars including Broadspeed and Uren, to name just two, as they are all ‘survivors’.

The club has gathered (and continues to accumulate) as much information as it can around the model. If you are the proud owner of a Mk1 Capri that is not yet registered with the REGISTER, then head over to their website and fill in the application form. You can become a member of the club or just register your car to be added to the historical document for no charge.

REGISTER members are always eager to help each other and pool their experiences and tips about the Capri. There are many benefits to being a member, including receiving the club magazine, and the club is able to help members with a variety of things from restoration to insurance. They are also one of the few clubs able to date a Capri for DVLA purposes.
