Can you smell the polish and petrol already? The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show is gearing up for another epic year – and the numbers are in. Over 310 motoring clubs are joining the fun from 7–9 November, including 16 making their show debut. That’s a whole lot of classic metal under one roof it’s the equivalent of 16 football pitches packed with cars, bikes, parts, spares, stories, and characters.
Whether you're into pre-war rarities, 70s icons, 90s oddballs, or something only 12 people in the country remember, there’ll be a club flying the flag for it. This isn’t your average Sunday car meet – it’s the entire classic motoring community rolled into one weekend, and they’re bringing their pride and joy with them.
So, what does 310 clubs actually look like? Picture a Jaguar E-Type nudging a Fiat Panda 4x4. A line of Land Rovers parked opposite a fleet of Corvettes. Morris Minors rubbing bumpers with modern classics like the MR2. It’s a curated chaos of chrome, colour, and community – and you won’t find a mix like it anywhere else.
And it’s not just a visual feast. These club displays are full of heart. Expect to meet owners who can quote torque figures faster than you can say “Haynes Manual,” and restorers who’ve brought long-lost legends back to life. It’s your chance to ask questions, swap stories, and maybe even join a club or two yourself.
Head over to the website to scroll through the full list of confirmed clubs (but maybe grab a cuppa first – it’s a long one). And if you’re planning to join the action, book your tickets today and use discount code PTLAN to save £2.
Biggest show yet? High chance the answer’s yes.
