Classic car owners help Lancaster Insurance raise over £44k for charity!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our customers, we have raised over £44,000 for Auditory Verbal UK (AVUK) to help support deaf children to thrive.

Since 2022, customers have been able to support AVUK by adding a £1, £5, or £10 optional donation when purchasing a classic car insurance policy with Lancaster Insurance.

The funds raised will support AVUK’s vital work providing Auditory Verbal Therapy in the UK – a family programme that helps deaf children develop listening and spoken language skills and to have the same opportunities in life as their hearing peers.

The charity’s mission is to ensure that every deaf child under five can access Auditory Verbal Therapy, regardless of family income and where they live. AVUK also conducts pioneering research and raises awareness and expectations of what deaf children can achieve in their lifetimes.
