Expectations were high as Lancaster Insurance and I started the 2019 Hyundai Coupe Cup together for the 5th season!
We headed off to Snetterton for rounds 3 and 4 of the Hyundai Coupe Cup with the hope of more of sustaining the success we enjoyed at Silverstone in our Lancaster Insurance Coupe. Snetterton has always felt like home to me, however it presents more of a challenge than Silverstone.

Our 2018 Hyundai Coupe Cup kicked off at Silverstone on 24th-25th March 2018, with the first two rounds held on a very wet national circuit. After hustling for pole position in qualifying and ultimately getting 2nd for race one, I was confident I had the pace to defend my 2017 Coupe Cup crown.

The first two rounds of the Hyundai Coupe Cup were held on the Silverstone National Circuit on the 25 -26 March. There was a record number of 18 coupes on the grid, so I’m anticipating this will be a tough and exciting season for all involved!
My Lancaster Insurance Hyundai Coupe headed for Mallory Park for rounds 7 and 8 of the Cup, our mid-season meeting, and the sun was shining! We were without a win so far this season and there’s been a fair amount of head scratching at previous meetings as to why we were almost, but not quite, on the pace.
