The insurance specialist, known for ‘putting the fun into insurance’, is looking for ten passionate and enthusiastic people, who are exploring an alternative to university and eager to make their first foray into the world of work.

We’re thrilled to announce that over 10,000 people attended this year’s Lancaster Insurance Classic & Supercars show! On the day, over 2,100 classic, motorsport and supercars were displayed over 36 acres of Sherborne Castle Estate, with 37 car clubs attending.


For many of us it is the smallest details of an old car that can evoke such powerful memories – the transmission whine on a Vauxhall Viva HB, the tip-up seats on a four-door Morris 1100 – and the oval shaped interior mirror on a 1965 Hillman Super Minx.

We’re thrilled to announce the show’s highest turnout last weekend, with more than 14,000 people attending the show, up 40% on last year! Over the weekend, 2,100 classic, motorsport and supercars were displayed over the 36 acres, with 1,720 classic and sports cars including those from members of 31 car clubs.

A mixed trio of stunning classic cars are the first vehicles to be confirmed for the Pride of Ownership display, to be sponsored by Lancaster Insurance, at the Practical Classics Restoration and Classic Car Show, held 5-6 March at Birmingham’s NEC. A 1952 Humber Pullman Limousine, 1976 Citroen Ami Super Saloon and a stunning VW Camper Van have taken the first of the 20 places available for private entries.
