The XR Owners Club was formed in 1983 to bring together XR enthusiasts who share a common passion for the marque. The Club also has an active social media presence with its Official XR Owners Club UK group having over 4,000 members!
Car of the Month - Richard Snowdon and his Ford Capri 280 Brooklands
When Richard Snowdon was a teenager he craved a new Ford Capri Injection but after leaving school he put aside such dreams together with Depeche Mode records. However, 12 years ago ‘I was collecting my daughter from a party and the host invited me to take a look at the classic car in his garage. On seeing those four headlamps, I fell in love with the Capri all over again and asked the chap “are you selling?”’.
THE 2018 INTERNATIONAL AUTOJUMBLE
Here are a few statistics; the International Autojumble of the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu which took place over the weekend of the 1st and 2nd September attracted over 34,000 enthusiasts who visited more than 2,000 stands.
