We were intrigued by the recent news that around 20 per cent of UK classic cars were failing their MOT. A slightly concerning statistic, you might think – until you remember that many of these cars are not legally required to submit to an MOT in the first place. That's because UK legislation states that cars over 40 years old no longer have to take the MOT test.
